A workshop on reader and choir preparation will be offered at Christ the Savior Church from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2015. All interested Chicago-area faithful are cordially invited to attend.

Reader Philip Sokolov, the parish’s choir director, will present an overview of the Church’s liturgical books and ranks of liturgical commemorations.  The order of Sunday, festal, daily and Lenten Vespers and Matins for Sundays also will be studied in depth.  The program will provide hands-on practice in setting out the order of services.

The afternoon will close with the celebration of the Vigil.
